Editorial policy

This page describes how Ve7as content is made. It is a commitment, not a marketing statement: if you find a page that does not live up to it, tell us via the contact page and we will fix it.

Independence

Ve7as is not owned by a gambling operator, takes no money from operators and runs no operator advertising. There are no affiliate links, no casino or bookmaker rankings, no promo codes and no bonus offers on this site. We do not earn anything when a reader starts gambling — so we have no reason to push anyone towards it.

Where the facts come from

Every verifiable claim in our guides and analysis rests on a primary source: regulator documents, published standards of testing laboratories, game providers’ technical documentation, the text of the law. News items rest on the regulator’s own announcement or on at least two independent publications. An operator’s or provider’s press release is never the sole confirmation of a news item.

Some of our material draws on direct professional experience: the author works inside the iGaming industry and sees how gambling platforms are built from the engineering and quality-assurance side. Such claims are marked in the text as based on working experience rather than on publications.

How AI is used

We use language models as a tool: for drafts, structuring and translation. Articles, guides and reference pages are reviewed by a person before publication: facts are checked against primary sources, and responsibility for what is published lies with the editorial team, not with a model.

News items are the exception, and we say so plainly. A short news item may be prepared and published automatically, without a person reading it first. That happens only if every one of these automated checks passes: the facts are confirmed by at least three independent publishers (syndicated copies of one text count once) or come from the regulator’s own announcement, and our system actually retrieved and read those sources; the text is written from facts extracted from those sources, not by rewriting any single article; a second model pass over the English and the Spanish text, headlines included, finds no unsupported or overstated statement, no arithmetic error and no advice to gamble; the text passes automated style, structure and link checks, and the headline and description pass automated checks for links, markup and notes about our own work or checking, and the Spanish version keeps the figures and dates of the English one; the date given for the event is not later than its first report, and the text does not say that no other outlet reports a fact unless we read them all; and the checks find no private individual named in connection with an accusation, trial, sanction or death. Keyword and name checks are designed to hold back reports on criminal cases, allegations, lawsuits and deaths for a person to review. They are heuristics, not a guarantee, which is why automatic publication is capped at a few items per run and every such item carries a visible note. Anything that fails a check waits for a person.

Every news item prepared with AI carries a note at the bottom saying whether an editor reviewed it before publication. If you find a mistake in one, tell us via the contact page: it is corrected or withdrawn, and corrections are marked as described below.

Corrections

Mistakes happen. When we get a fact wrong, we correct the text and update the article’s “updated” date, which is shown under the headline once a day or more has passed since publication. Substantial corrections are not disguised as routine edits. You can report a mistake via the contact page.

Our position on gambling

Gambling is adult entertainment with a known mathematical price — not a way to make money. Our articles explain how that mathematics works, and never promise winnings, sell “winning systems” or nudge anyone to play. Every article ends with links to free help for gambling problems.
